The Farm

Rural Location

The children are provided with endless opportunities to explore the outside environment. With such beautiful and extensive grounds, we put a big emphasis on outdoor learning.

Our large garden includes a lovely grassy area with lots of space and opportunities for . Playing in the willow den, parachute games, role-play and picnics with teddy bears are just a few of the activities which can be seen taking place. A large wooden play-frame with slides, sandpit, balance beam and wobbly bridge provides hours of fun.

The sensory garden is the perfect setting to explore the natural world, with abundant flowers and herbs to smell and feel. Imagine how lovely it is to sit and watch the honey bees busily buzzing from flower to flower.

Working Dairy Farm

Children gain an understanding of caring for living things through the family of friendly animals in our own nursery paddock. Ducks and chickens are fed daily and provide us in return with a never-ending supply of eggs. Our lambs, hand-reared by the children,  enjoy skipping around in their lovely home, and always greet visitors to the paddock!

Forest School

We are opening our new Forest School in September 2019. Our Forest School base will be nestled at the back of the nursery in the paddock with incredible views of the Cherhill monument and fields as far as the eye can see. The area is young and with the help of the children, we will watch it grow into a beautiful space with trees, grasses and wildlife a plenty! The sessions will run from 9am-3pm and the group will operate separately from the main nursery and will be completely self-contained.
